Peak Fitness

Duration: 1 Hour 15 Minutes

Our Peak Fitness Camp includes both indoor and outdoor training designed to help each client reach their Peak Fitness level. Morning classes are held five days each week and evening classes are Monday thru Thursday. Classes are one hour 15 minutes in length and include cardiovascular exercise, strength training, daily stretching, abdominal work, stairs, hills, push-ups, and more. Each person works at their maximum capacity, encouraged and challenged by the instructor gaining strength and speed every day.

Base Camp

Duration: 1 Hour

Have you been thinking about Peak Fitness classes but afraid you will not be able to keep up? Would you like a low impact class that still gets you into your best shape ever? Altitude Peak Fitness is now offering Base Camp, a 3 day a week fitness boot camp of lower intensity cardiovascular and weight training. This camp is perfect for the beginner who is looking to improve their fitness level or for the person just getting back into a fitness routine. Base camp instructors will create workouts to challenge each client and teach you the proper form and technique of weight training ensuring clients receive the most out of every workout. In order for you to reach your fitness best, Base Camp must include various cardiovascular exercises. However, Base Camp will focus on low impact exercises to minimize impact to the joints and running will be minimal. We are committed to helping you reach your fitness goals and put the fun back into exercising.

Prime Time

Duration: 1 Hour

Prime Time Fitness is the same intensity as our Peak Fitness camps but in less time. It is the perfect class for those indivduals that are looking for a challenging workout but have busy schedules. Classes are held three evenings each week and will include cardiovascular and strength training along with core fitness. Each class will offer something different and challenging including both indoor and outdoor workouts whether it be on a rooftop in LoDo or a power circuit in our 5,000 sq ft gym.

Power Hour

Duration: 1 Hour

Power Hour is a weight resistance class designed to increase muscular strength and mass. Instructors will provide proper lifting form and technique along with individual goal setting and tracking.

Running Clinic

Duration: 1 Hour 15 Minutes

Running season is far from over, and several of you have upcoming races including the Denver Marathon and Half Marathon, relays, 10Ks, and the like. Others simply want to be faster runners, either way our running clinic will help you meet your goals. The clinic will meet on Tuesdays for urban training and on Saturdays for trail and altitude training. Training sessions will also incorporate interval and speedwork along with distance running. Our instructors will provide critiques on running form and write-ups on proper breathing, stride rate, principles of conditioning, and running physiology. Indvidual questions regarding goal setting and injury prevention will also be addressed.

Peak Pass

Taking a vacation? Traveling for work? Caught in the fast lane this month? Purchase the Peak Pass. We realize there are times in everyone's life when your regular fitness schedule has to bend. Our Peak Pass offers veteran campers the opportunity to visit any of our Peak Fitness Camps 8 times during a given session. Campers must have completed a camp within the last six months to be eligible. Passes are only valid for the camp in which they are purchased. A limited number of Peak Passes are available each camp. Passes will be on sale January 2, 2008 for the January 7th session.

Ski & Ride Conditioning Camp

Duration: 1 hour

Winter is just around the corner, which means we will all be heading west to hit the slopes, take some turns, jump the bumps, and have a blast! Our ski and ride conditioning camp will prepare you for those first days on the hill by focusing on leg strengthening exercises, core conditioning, and cardiovascular endurance training. Classes meet Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday evenings for four weeks.

Varsity Boot Camp (Teens Only)

Duration: 1 Hour 30 Minutes

This Summer Boot Camp is specially designed for teens between the ages of 13-17. Whether you are looking to increase your speed, endurance, and strength to secure a spot on the varsity team this fall OR wanting to tone up and look hot for the first day of school, our co-ed boot camp is the place to be. Our 4-week outdoor training program will include cardio, strength and core training in a fun, team oriented environment. No two workouts will be the same - medicine ball football, cardio drills, kickboxing, etc. Our certified and motivating instructors will ensure each participant has clear direction on proper form and technique.
