Eat until you're Hara Hachi Bu. This Japanese term means "eat until you're 80% full". It's a calorie-saving strategy used by the Okinawans, who have one of the lowest rates of heart disease, cancer and stroke - and one of the highest life expectancies - of any population in the world. Stop eating when you feel only slightly full; within 15 minutes, you should be satisfied.---Fitness Magazine 2007

Is it worth it, getting up for that 6:00 am workout? Fitness experts say YES.When you work out first thing in the morning you give your metabolism a boost for the entire day. You will burn more calories and will lose weight more quickly. Plus, a vigorous workout is a natural appetite suppressant. Tip #4
Don't forget to stretch. Really, don't forget…
All adults should incorporate stretching into their morning or evening routine. Even on days when you aren't formally working out.
Move smoothly through each stretch. Never bounce, jerk, or snap-you could injure yourself.
Focus on each area of your body as you stretch. Be sensitive to the amount of resistance or tension you feel. You should feel a comfortable amount of tension-never any pain. Listen to your body to know when you hit just the right point.
Take two to three deep breaths as you hold each stretch. Don't rush. Hold each stretch for 30 to 60 seconds.
